Just a reminder that selected Year 10 students will be next sitting for the minimum standard online test for writing, reading and numeracy in Week 5- 15th and 16th November. The test allows our students the opportunity to demonstrate they meet the HSC minimum standard, which is required to receive the Higher School Certificate from 2020.
There are three tests that students must pass to achieve the HSC minimum standard – reading, writing and numeracy. Students have two opportunities a year to meet the standard, from Year 10 until a few years after Year 12. The vast majority of students at CHS who sat for numeracy, reading and writing tests in term 2 and 3 have now met the standard in those areas.
