Our After Hours Tutoring Program provides students with the opportunity to access specialist tutoring in the subject areas of Mathematics, Science, English and Music. Students can choose to receive intensive coaching either individually or in groups of 2 to 3. The After Hours Tutoring Program endeavours to improve student performance no matter what their current level.
The tutors
Concord High School has employed a team of dedicated ex-students and University students to tutor our current students. Each Tutor has been identified as a top achiever in their chosen subject area and they are enthusiastic about working side by side with our students.
Session times
The After Hours Tutoring Program operates after school hours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. There are two sessions times in each afternoon - 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. To apply for tutoring support, students may collect an 'Expression of Interest' form.
Cost
Cost for tuition is based on the number of students in each session and calculated on a cost recovery basis.
- Private Session (1 tutor to 1 student): $52 per hour
- Paired Session (1 tutor to 2 students): $42 per hour
- Group Sessions (1 tutor to 3 students): $35 per hour
